Description
Come aboard the Vedettes de l’Odet and sail to the magnificent islands of the Glenan archipelago. Located in southern Brittany off the coast of Concarneau, just ten nautical miles from the mainland, the Glenan Islands are a magical site. White sand, turquoise waters, soaring seabirds: paradise is here!
From Benodet, Concarneau, Beg Meil, Port-La-Foret and Loctudy, make the most of your day or afternoon on the islands. After an hour’s crossing, you get off on Saint Nicolas island, known as the archipelago’s capital. Saint Nicolas is quite small, just follow the paths to tour the island in 45 minutes. Two restaurants welcome you in season, we suggest you to bring your own picnic.
During hight tides, you can also walk fishing. Glenan rose clams, periwinkles, abalone, sea urchins: shellfish and crustaceans are yours for the taking, while respecting the regulations governing this activity to preserve resources.
Every spring, naturalists from all over the world descend on Saint Nicolas to discover the famous Glenan narcissus, a species unique in the world and classified as a protected area.
Saint Nicolas is home to France’s smallest nature reserve at just one square kilometer!

Guest reviews
Very well organized excursion to the Glenan Islands.
Top cruise, very friendly staff. The little extra: the young guide who gives us a song on the way back from the Glenan.
A beautiful day and a wonderful cruise on the Odet boats to the Glenan islands! A good hour’s drive to St Nicolas Island, where we spent a few hours, before taking the boat back to visit the archipelago. A top-notch guide, polite and pleasant staff.
